DOB Weekly Safety Inspections

Don’t Forget! All sites that are currently suspended and require a site superintendent, site safety coordinator or site safety manager must submit a weekly certification to the department of buildings through their DOB Now E-filing Portal. To submit a report go to www.nyc.gov/dobnow and choose the “Essential Construction Portal”. From their select “weekly safety inspection report and enter in your BIS job/document number. Complete all required fields and select save. Complete the statement and signature section and select the “submit” button to complete your transaction. You will then receive an email notification to confirm your submittal. And remember, a new submission must be made each week for every job that requires a safety inspection.
